Dave renewed his interest in golf when he retired from teaching in 2010. He joined the Dog and Bacon Golf Society in 2011 and over the last five years, much to his own amazement, added his name to a number of trophies. He was a lovely man, who everyone wanted to play with, as one lady member put it, “he was such a gent and a fun guy.” He will be greatly missed.
